Round two here we come! This week we tackled some Japanese Masks. Week you say? Do we do these once a week? In theory yes… in actuality? Not so much. But hey! We’re trying, okay? Tuesdays at the shop are our consultation day, meaning no actual tattooing but chatting with clients about future pieces, artwork, and sometimes getting a bit of drawing done… so what better day to pick the challenge theme! We try to get each challenge done in one week, but even if it’s just a sketch that’s pretty good right?

The masks we chose this time were Hannya and Kitsune - third mask is a wild card!

I was hoping to channel some of my inner Miyazaki for these masks, something very Spirited away if you will! Love that magical Japanese yokai feel.
